So we decided that this year for the Premier Bride bridal show we would do a new booth to go with our new logo and website. We sat there one night talking about how we might want the booth to look and Grant said he wanted to make it look like a gallery but to do something interesting with wood. Sounded good to me so he grabbed a notebook and sketched this:

We headed to the stores to look at supplies and before we knew it our garage was full of lumber and paint. We called in the parents who were a huge help. My parents came the weekend before the show to help build, and Grant’s parents came in the weekend of the show to help with final touches and set up.
We had a great time at the show! I love talking to so many brides in one day. I love looking at all the rings and hearing about their wedding plans.
We had a drawing for a bride to win a free bridal session and hope to announce the winner for that soon.
If you missed us you can catch us at the Formal Affair bridal show on February 21st.
Here are some more pictures of our booth. We were surprised at how much it looked like the original design, especially since it was just sketched late one night.

What an incredible wedding!! Rebekah & Travis moved their wedding to Orlando Florida, and I don’t mind saying that I’m glad they did! It was breathtaking!
The bride and groom got ready at the incredible Loews Portofino Resort that looked just like Venice! I mean waterways and all. I loved the balcony outside of the room that Rebekah and the girls got ready in. So beautiful!
Once ready we were off to the First Baptist Church of Orlando for a very sweet ceremony and before we knew it we were back at the Resort for some great photos with the couple and then for a fabulous sit down reception.
Every detail was attended to for this beautiful wedding! I have to say that the cake was the most impressive cake I’ve seen in person – just incredible! And all of the vendors we worked with at this wedding were fabulous. We really loved working in Orlando.
So a big congrats to Rebekah & Travis. I know you guys are glad to be husband and wife and we are so very honored that we got to be a part of your day and document it.
Thank You!

The bride and groom got ready at the magnificent Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, which reminded us so much of Venice! Rebekah and the girls got ready in a suite overlooking the bay and boat dock—I loved shooting on the balcony outside of the room. So beautiful!

We had a great time shooting Savanna’s senior portraits and the weather cooperated! Savanna wanted an urban feel to her photos so we headed to downtown Chattanooga and found some neat walls and architecture to work with before we headed to the bridge for some more shots.
Savanna is a beautiful young woman and was so easy to shoot. I love her eyes and the shape of her face – it made for some nice close up shots.
We had a fun shoot and wish her all the best as she heads on to college next year!

We had a great engagement shoot and hike with Sarah & Matt on Signal Point while there were still some leaves on the trees. Sarah & Matt were a lot of fun and I do believe they already have all of the details for their wedding next year already ironed out. They are going to have a beautiful wedding and I’m excited to see Sarah’s 7 foot train that she was telling me about!!
Matt proposed to Sarah here at Signal Point so it was a very special place for them. We also had some fantastic rocks to do some neat things with as well as the view, of course.
A huge congratulations to Sarah & Matt – we are looking forward to her bridal portraits and of course their wedding!!
