As I write this, it’s been 8 months since our last blog post. Whoops! It’s not that we haven’t been busy…in fact, since then we’ve delivered 18,928 photos for 71 client projects ranging from California, Florida, and New Jersey to right here at home.
So where have we been? Well, I’ve always thought of updating the blog as something to do after we’ve finished all of our obligations to our clients. Looking back, that may not have been the best plan—after all, at the end of each project there’s another waiting to be started. But now that the lull of a new year has set in, it looks like a great time to share some of the fun we’ve been having.
So in the coming days and weeks, I’ll be posting highlights of those shoots that haven’t made it to the blog yet. I’m probably too far behind to get them all up, but Sara and I are excited to get up here as much as we can. (And going forward, I’ll be making a point to share what we’re doing in something close to real time!)
In the meantime, here’s a peek at some of the shoots we’ll be posting soon.
If you haven’t subscribed to our RSS feed yet, now would be a great time!
We had such an fantastic time doing NaKisha’s bridal portraits. She looked so stunning with her dress, hair and everything! We took these at the Chattanooga Choo Choo and we loved her ideas on where she wanted some done and she knew just how to give us the right look! How fun!
Please read above this post about her wedding to Miles, and how in some of the hardest circumstances, they had a memorable and beautiful wedding!
Thank you, NaKisha for letting us have this opportunity to work with you, we loved every minute!
Courtney, oh dear Courtney. You were are beautiful neighbor and now that we’ve found that you are the perfect model for us you move to California!
We absolutely LOVED shooting this bridal for Courtney. She’s a stunning young woman, and a gorgeous bride. We loved how she had very specific things she wanted to do, and to capture, so we loved her input and team-work. This was a fun and fabulous shoot and we are so excited about the images.
Please read above this post about her wedding to the handsome Tim. Thank you, Courtney for letting us have this opportunity. If you ever want to model for anything, you know where to find us. :)
Miss you, glad you are enjoying being a newlywed.

We are so excited to be posting Jamie King’s bridal portraits! You may remember that Jamie was the winner from our contest at the Premier Bridal Show and she won a free bridal photoshoot! We talked with Jamie earlier this year and her plans for her wedding changed and her and her husband decided to elope! So we actually took these photos about a week after their wedding when they got back in town.
Jamie was so much fun to work with! We started at the UTC campus and then found this neat old building downtown that had been abandoned. Jamie was a natural in front of the camera and was a trouper while we put her in some tricky spots. We all had fun on this shoot and are so excited for this sweet new couple.
Thanks Jamie for your willingness to do some untraditional things…we hope you love your photos!
