What a treat it was to shoot Kristi and Jake’s wedding! We got to work at the Tate House, in Jasper GA, a location we’ve never been to before. We loved working at this historic location and every detail of this special wedding was beautiful and came together for a really wonderful day.
Kristi and Jake have an amazing love for each other, one that is evident by simply the look on their faces. We loved being around them and getting to document this spectacular day for them.
Congratulations Kristi and Jake…thank you so much for asking us to be a part of your day…it was truly beautiful!
How did you decide on your dress?
Well, I knew I wanted a one strap dress, so I searched online to get ideas and found the perfect one shoulder gown! I made an appointment at Bride Beautiful which sold that particular dress. My mom, grandma and bridesmaids all went with me to try on wedding gowns, and sure enough the dress I picked out online was a perfect fit! It was everything I was envisioning and expecting.
What are three words you would use to describe your day?
Jake: Wild, Wonderful, Amazing, Beautiful, Unique
Kristi: Amazing, Fun, Best day of my life
What did you enjoy most about planning your wedding?
Jake: Calling people to make sure they RSVP…
Kristi: Trying on dresses and picking out invitations and the venue.
What was your favorite detail of the wedding?
Jake: The photographers, and the Bagpiper.
Kristi: I loved all the flowers and my dress.
What was the most memorable moment about your wedding day?
Jake: The ceremony…You may kiss the bride!
Kristi: Our vows, first kiss and pronouncement as Mr. and Mrs. Brumbelow. Also walking down the aisle with my dad and watching Jake at the end of the aisle.
What’s next for you as a couple? What are you looking forward to in the future?
Jake: Building our strong relationship together…Enjoying each others company…
