We had the honor of photographing Ashley & Nick’s wedding day at Camp Dixie, and it was so beautiful! We could not have asked for better weather and it seemed like all of the details came together perfectly to make for a great wedding.
Ashley’s hair was a masterpiece and the location of the wedding made for some incredible photos. They made their vows under a huge tree with the congregation surrounding them. Then on a walk to give the couple some one on one time, Ashley & Nick wandered onto the dock and we got beautiful photos of them on the water.
All the best to this great couple. I know they worked hard to make this day such a success. So kudos to you guys – it was fabulous!

What a fun wedding!! We had a blast shooting Katrina and Roy’s public wedding. They decided they wanted everyone to know about their love, and said their vows in the open air of Coolidge Park. With their theatrical and performance backgrounds, there was nowhere better than the stage in the park, with an audience looking down from the walking bridge. They have such energy and love for each other, it filled the day with beautiful moments.
The wedding was stunning, original, and full of the personality of this fun couple. The guys had a lot of fun bowling in the morning while the ladies were prepping and we got some fun shots of them together in the Art District before heading over to the park.
All the best to the two of you – it’s obvious you have a lot of laughs ahead of you!

Boy it’s cold! We had a fun (but cold) engagement session for Rebekah and Travis. This sweet couple contacted us from Nashville because they were planning a wedding in Chattanooga. Now it looks like they have moved it to Orlando… so Florida here we come!! Travis is in the military and Rebekah is an event planner. I’m sure every detail will be attended to with her experience!
Even though it was cold we had a great shoot and a lot of fun with this couple. We shot at Reflection Riding and had some neat things to play with. Not everywhere do you have bamboo patches to shoot in! We also enjoyed the water and the gorgeous sunlight that we had.

Sometimes really neat things happen on our shoots that you don’t expect, and in this one we were shooting and realized the plants behind Katrina and Roy were housing a bird and probably some just laid eggs. This bird did not move no matter how close we got. Once we realized she was protecting her own we let her be but we had to grab a shot of this protectant mother. It was a neat moment.
