We are Grant & Sara Dotson. As a husband and wife team, we bring a unique perspective to photography, one influenced by life experiences as well as comprehensive art and design training. Our cameras are an extension of not only our eyes, but our minds and hearts, instantly capturing moments and emotions just as they occur. We enjoy getting to know our clients on a personal level and helping them feel that they're a part of a partnership. Beach Vacation ’09

To the Beach!

Who’s up for a vacation?!? We were however with a newborn, even a trip to the beach is work. :)

This week we headed to Gulf Shores, AL with my whole family and stayed in a house on the beach. My family lives all over the US so for us to all be together for a whole week in one place is a real treat. We have 3 nieces and 1 nephew on this side of our family and then of course our little one…so there was lots of playing, swimming, and fun to be had.

We had one evening where we hit the beach specifically for some pictures and after we got some more traditional family shots we relaxed and got some fantastic shots of the kids and families as themselves. I love these shots because the kids just got to be kids and we were able to capture so much of their personality on those shots.

We had a blast on our trip but were also glad to be back home.
