We are so very excited to announce the winner of a free Bridal Photoshoot from the Formal Affair\u00a0Bridal Show<\/a>. Those who stopped by our booth and signed our guestbook were entered into a drawing and today we get to tell everyone who the lucky winner is.<\/p>\n

We have been talking with Morgan and we are looking forward to her photoshoot! I wanted to share more about her and her fianc\u00e9 and their awesome story. When I read Morgan’s story it meant a lot to me since it involves their son. I know how having Ella changed our love and only made it stronger and I believe they have felt that too. Here’s another great love story that we get to share to the world.<\/p>\n

What is your fianc\u00e9’s name?
\nChris Hight<\/p>\n
When\/how did you meet?
\nIn college (Shorter College in Rome, GA) through mutual friends<\/p>\n
How long did you date?
\nWe started dating on May 15, 2007 and have been inseparable ever since!\u00a0<\/p>\n
Anything special you’d like to share about dating him?
\n\u00a0Chris is my best friend. I love how he can make me laugh no matter how bad my day\u00a0
\nwas. He is the most amazing person I have ever met. When we met, we were nothing but a\u00a0
\ncouple of college kids who were in love and lived only for the moment. On April 19,\u00a0
\n2009, I gave birth to our son. Our love for each other has done nothing but become\u00a0
\nmore strong and real. I still get butterflies everytime he looks at me. He is an\u00a0
\namazing father and I can’t wait til the day when I can call him my husband.<\/p>\n
When\/how did you get engaged?
\nWe got engaged on April 8, 2009. I had been out of town with my mom visiting my\u00a0
\nsister. When I got home, he walked into the closet and asked me to come in there to\u00a0
\nask me about an outfit we had received at one of our baby showers. When I walked in he\u00a0
\nwas down on one knee and asked me to be his wife!<\/p>\n
Were you surprised?
\nWe had definitely talked about marriage and we had went to look at rings. Toward the\u00a0
\nend of my pregnancy we decided that we wanted to get married before our son was born,\u00a0
\nso I knew it was coming. We were just going to have a simple ceremony with just our\u00a0
\nfamily and closest friends. I just didn’t know when. Then, he told me that we just\u00a0
\ndidn’t have the money and wasn’t able to buy me a ring. So he was pretty sneaky about\u00a0
\nit. We didn’t get to get married because I went into labor a week before our wedding!!\u00a0<\/p>\n
What is your ring like?
\nGorgeous! He knew I didn’t want anything original or traditional. It is a round\u00a0
\nstone with smaller diamonds going around it in a circle. The band of it also has\u00a0
\ndiamonds.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Any details of your wedding plans that you would like to share?\u00a0
\n\u00a0I just recently got my wedding dress! We have somewhat set a date. September 4, 2010\u00a0
\n(hopefully). It’s a special day to us because it’s my grandparents wedding\u00a0
\nanniversary. We hope and pray we can be together as long as they have been (54 years!)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
We are looking forward to talking to Morgan more as we find a time and the perfect location for the shoot. We’ll be sure to post some of the photos from the shoot. I’m sure we’ll get some gorgeous pictures of Morgan in her dress!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
